Anatomy of a Scam (AOS) is a Mastercard branded documentary series that breaks down how modern scams operate, from the first point of contact to their real-world impact.

Each episode explores a different type of scam, including investment scams and impersonation scams, while examining the role of social engineering as a core tactic used to manipulate trust, urgency, and decision-making. Through expert insight and victim stories, the series reveals how these schemes are designed, executed, and scaled.

AOS moves beyond individual incidents to expose the broader system behind cybercrime, showing how scams have evolved with modern technology, why they continue to succeed, and what it takes to recognize and prevent them.

For this documentary series, we led creative direction and post-production, crafting a cohesive visual narrative that translated complex fraud and cybersecurity topics into engaging, story-driven content for global audiences.

The project has been shortlisted in the Video category of PR Daily’s Social Media & Digital Awards 2026, a recognition presented by Ragan Communications honoring outstanding work in digital communications, marketing, and storytelling.
